Clients all around Atlanta and Georgia call me often for one specific area of Sex Therapy. Many people (mostly men) call me about masturbation. As you probably have guessed, this issue is not something people struggle with just in Atlanta. Sex Therapists everywhere deal with clients who feel like have issues with masturbation.


I want to clear a few things up for everybody out there who may have concerns. As a Sex Therapist, I would like to tell you some things that might make you feel better.

When people call me and say give me some tips on how to masturbate less, there is more to the picture. A lot of times when people are struggling with sexual issues, there is a deeply rooted cause. Sex Therapy does not involve one size fits all solutions for everyone. Sex Therapy explores the person you are, your family history, relationship history, abuse history, and many other things to determine what the cause of your issues are. Like I said, it's complex. 


If you feel like you are masturbating because you are avoiding your partner, then that is something that needs to be explored.
